Northern Goldsmiths Green & Gold
Northern Goldsmiths is undoubtedly a huge part of Goldsmiths’ history. The legendary store sits on the corner of Pilgrim Street and Blackett Street, Newcastle, and has done since 1892. The store is one of the longest standing in the Goldsmiths estate and has become a flagship showroom. The original features of the golden building such as the Birdcage, the 24 carat gold Rolex clock and the golden Lady Venus have all been rejuvenated and restored. The store holds a host of memories for the people of Newcastle and over the years has become a Newcastle landmark, known to light up the streets at night.
